Christmas post #2
Just a quick add-on to say that the Christmas post was time stamped yesterday 'cause I started it yesterday and finished it today...make sense? Since then, Jennifer has been up walking, with two, couple hundred-step trips down the hallway. Sounds like most everyone's figuring out how to post comments; our thanks to you all, your sentiments and best wishes are so appreciated. Makes us seem not quite so far away. Merry Christmas and good night from Washington, D.C.

ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear Jen is out of ICU. No surprise she is out of bed and down the hallway. She will be skipping again before you know it! We love you guys and continue to pray everyday for a speedy recovery. Go Jen!!
Merry Christmas, Jen, Dave, and the kids!! Many friends, family and members of our church praying for you. Walking down the hall??, you stud, you. Love you and can't wait to see you when you get home--when you're ready.
ReplyDeleteby the way, Jen, you should see my 5 month old son, Luke, staring at your gorgeous picture on this blog--I think he's in love--watch out, Dave!!
ReplyDeleteYou go, girl! Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteLove,
Lynn Foerster
David,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your tender and gracious posts. They mean so much to us who are far away...geographically. We treasure Jen and are eager to hear from you.

Amazing, huh? ... how close the miles are when thought of, and experienced in, love and faith?
ReplyDeleteGod bless you as you press on through this test ... we're encouraged in our own faith just being a part of your prayer support! Way to go...celebrating Christmas in the midst of turmoil ... your family is awesome! Obviously great parenting ! :-)
Hi Jennifer,
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!
You go girl!!! I'm praying for you and thinking of you every day.
Lots of love,
Kristy Kimball
We are so grateful for this literal link with you right now. We saw your kids on Christmas eve and they are so solid...like their parents. We are inspired and encouraged by the progress in DC. We were at my sister's yesterday and some beautiful star ornaments were prominently displayed on her tree. You are constantly in our thoughts and prayers and we love you very much! Caroline and David
ReplyDeleteHello from Alabama....We are so glad to hear of your progress with the Washington DC team. What a great answer to prayer that you are there. We are continuing in prayer as you recover and return to all of us who love and miss you! Keep blogging! Love, Charles and Lori
ReplyDeleteWe are thinking about you everyday and sending all our love to you. You are so amazing and an inspiration to us all.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Therese and Jim
Dear Jennifer:
ReplyDeleteWe Keanes are praying for your speedy recovery. Hang in there! You and Dave and your kids are extraordinarily brave and spiritual and strong. We take inspiration from your grace and serenity in the midst of all your challenges this year. Denise and I and Katie and Patrick extend our hands in friendship and love to you forever. We think of you daily and we wish you and your family an awesome 2009 and beyond. Get well quick. We know that it will be a Happy New Year!
Much Love, The Bill Keane Family.
Hi Dave and Jen
ReplyDeleteNow I certainly understand the desire to 'bust out of there', but may I remind you both of the trip from Idaho Falls to LA just about two years ago with one slightly injured snowmobiler? That was a fairly short trip, and as I recall, Dave, you said it was pretty tough. So maybe it would be a good idea to enjoy some more of that Eastern Hospitality! Debbie and I are so glad to hear the surgery went well and that the recovery phase is underway. We are keeping you both in our thoughts and prayers.
